Original artworks transformed into limited Sittingsuits editions, made to be worn, used and encountered beyond the gallery.
Art does not have to remain on the wall. Sittingsuits Artist Editions translate original works across the full surface of the Sittingsuit. The result is limited wearable art that changes with the body, movement, weather and light.
Each collaboration begins with a distinct artwork and artistic point of view. The recognizable One size / unisex form remains the same, while the surface becomes a functional canvas made to be worn and used in the world.

The Ib Antoni collaboration shows how an existing artwork can move from archive through production and into a distinctive cultural setting.
THE SOURCE
The Greek Mermaid was created to mark the 1964 royal wedding of Princess Anne-Marie of Denmark and King Constantine of Greece.

FULL-SCALE CUSTOMIZATION
From 200 pieces per design, we can work from original artwork, an archive, a collection or another defined creative world, then develop the sample and production with you.
START A CREATIVE COLLABORATION
Share the artist, artwork or archive, intended context, quantity and timing. We will assess the visual material and recommend the next step.
Original paintings, illustrations, prints, patterns, photography, archive material and other coherent visual worlds can all be considered. Share the strongest source material you have and we will assess how it can work across the garment.
The minimum order is 200 pieces per design.
We study the original composition and identify what should remain recognizable. Scale, placement and transitions are then developed across the front, back, sleeves and hood so the design reads as one complete piece.
Yes. A physical sample is created for review and approval before the full order moves into production.
Allow approximately 120-150 days for design development, sampling, approvals, production and delivery.
